How to Order
Ordering with us is done by email. Below is the process from start to finish, along with the ideal file setup for each of our services.
If you’re having trouble with file setup, feel free to contact us — or just email through what you have and we’ll get back to you. We’re happy to set the files up for you depending on what’s required; there may be a small charge for our time.
Step 1: Send us your files and job details
Email your print-ready files (or a transfer link — see below) to [email protected], along with:
- Job requirements — let us know which services you need:
- Scanning
- Proofing
- Fine Art prints
- Framing
- Mounting
- Posters
- 4 Colour Posters & Flyer Prints
- Print specifications — size, paper/media, quantity
- When you need the prints by
- Delivery method — post, courier, or pick-up
- Your contact details, including a phone number. If we have a technical question, a quick call resolves it far faster than email back-and-forth.
Step 2: We quote and confirm
We’ll review your files, sort out any technical details, and send you a quote and order confirmation.
Step 3: We invoice you
Once you approve the quote, we’ll send an invoice for the job.
Step 4: We complete the order and deliver
When payment is received, your job goes into production. We’ll let you know when it’s ready for pick-up or has been dispatched.
Turnaround Times
Let us know your timeline and we’ll work out the best way to have your job completed on time. If necessary, most services can be expedited as a priority job with a rush fee.
All times are from payment; larger jobs may require more time.
- Scanning — 3–5 business days
- Proofing — 3–5 business days
- Fine Art & Photographic prints — 3–5 business days
- Framing — 7 to 10 business days (i.e. jobs ready for framing by Thursday will be ready to send or pick up the following Friday)
- Mounting — 3 to 10 business days
- Posters — 3–5 business days
- 4 Colour Posters & Flyer Prints — job specific, usually 5 business days
Sending Your Files
We recommend WeTransfer (the free service is fine), but we’ll accept other file transfer services too.

File Setup for Print-Ready Files
To get the best result and avoid delays, please supply files set up as follows.
Fine Art & Photographic Prints
- Format: TIFF preferred. We can work with other formats if necessary.
- Colour space: RGB
- Layers: Flattened, no layers
- Size: Set to final print size, with borders included
- Resolution: 300 DPI at print size recommended; 150 DPI is the minimum
- File names: Clear, and include the print size (e.g. landscape-A2.tif)
Working with low-resolution files? Let us know — we may be able to help improve them.
High-Quality Large-Format Inkjet Posters — Medical/Scientific
- Format: TIFF or PDF preferred. We can work with other formats if necessary.
- Colour space: RGB (let us know if CMYK)
- Layers: Flattened, no layers
- Size: Set to final print size, with borders included
- Resolution: 300 DPI at print size recommended; 150 DPI is the minimum
- File names: Clear, and include the print size (e.g. landscape-A2.tif)

Colour Posters & Flyer Prints
- Format: PDF
- Marks & bleed: Include crop marks and 3 mm bleed
- Colour space: CMYK
- Size: Set to final print size
- Resolution: 300 DPI at print size recommended; 150 DPI is the minimum
- File names: Clear, and include the print size (e.g. poster-A2.pdf)
